KGV was flagship of the Home Fleet and present at the Bismarck hunt, Arctic convoys, Sicily, and Tokyo Bay. Peter served aboard her and she was in the same Task Force as HMS Victorious throughout the 1945 Pacific campaign.
Peter served aboard HMS Victorious from 1944–1946. Survived two Kamikaze hits on 9 May 1945. Visited Hong Kong post-VJ Day.
